They are hosting Maybank Championship every year.

3. The Mines Resort And Golf Club:

The Mines Resort and Golf Club is undoubtedly one of the best golf courses in Selangor, Malaysia. If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur International Airport it will take you a 45 minutes drive to get there. This 18 hole par 72 golf course won several awards which include – Top 100 Course, Number 2 Course in Malaysia, Top 10 Course in Asia.

They also hosted various professional events like the World Cup of Golf in 1997, the Kuala Lumpur Open, and The KL SEA Games 2017, etc. Walk-in rates are RM1300 per person, so no one really plays there if you don’t know a member.

4. The ElS Club – Desaru Coast:

This golf course is situated on the South East Peninsular Malaysia, just 1 hour drive from downtown Johor and 1 hour 45 minutes from Singapore if you choose to take the road. Desaru Coast has two golf courses- the Ocean Course and the Valley Course. Ocean course was designed by Ernie Els in 2016, whereas the Valley course was designed by Vijay Singh and later jointly developed by Ernie Els in 2017.

The golf club offers three golf courses, meaning golfers can choose between 9-hole challenges among their Lake course, the Woodland course and the Meadow course. All of these three courses have been designed differently so that the golfers can have different platforms while playing.

As per their names, the Lake course comes with several water challenges before you can get to the 9th hole. In the Woodland course you will get wooden restrictions and in the Meadow course you will have to face different challenges which include palm trees and other obstacles.

10. Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club:

Horizon Hills is one of the most modern and hidden jewels among all the golf courses in Johor. It was established in 2008 and was designed by Ross Watson. This golf course is sitting in the heart of Nusajaya with 1,200 hectares.
