Playing on a hill golf course such as Selesa Golf Course with its tight and challenging layout is different from playing on a broad, flat lowland golf course. High handicappers will discover that when playing on a hill course such as Selesa Golf Course, all the things your Golf Pro told you are so true - club selection, stance and addressing the ball are more critical than on a flat lowland course. This is because the steep slopes, be they uphill or downhill, may alter the perception of distance. Together with the lie (uphill, downhill or even sideways) coupled with the height that the ball needs to be lofted uphill, or the added distance it will roll downhill make the game more challenging and enjoyable. However, when the condition of the golf course is so bad to the point that it becomes unplayable, then i can't say that it's worth paying even if the fee is not that much. The buggy broke down once, the ground was so muddy that the buggy got stuck, grass on fairway not trimmed and many more. The only good thing from this place is the friendly and helpful staff. So please don't scold them because they really can't do much there. Channel your anger and frustration towards the management because it's their responsibility to take care of the course. In conclusion, I would advice everyone to save your money and look for other golf courses out there. You'll definitely get your money's worth elsewhere.” Read more
