Our club was established in 1966 on the outskirts of the regional town of Keningau. The original location, which was a 9-hole golf course, was relocated in 1971 to Pasir Putih for government expansion. Originally the new site also had 9 holes, but it was later expanded to the 18 holes that golfers enjoy today. The course features 6,004 metres of undulating fairways and water hazards in the shape of streams and ponds, making it a difficult par 72 for golfers. Our club lies 1,000 feet above sea level in the Crocker Range mountains, adjacent to a national park in Sabah’s interior. This means golfers can enjoy cool air and stunning scenery for a round of golf. Former world’s no.1 golfer, Vijay Singh was the Resident Professional here from 1985 to 1987, which is a little-known fact. He made a number of changes to the course to make it more difficult for golfers. Read More
