Johor Golf Competitions started last year in 2019. This year in 2020, starting July until the end of the year, there will be a game hosted by Kapten K'RuL Hairulnizam every month for the rest of the year at different golf courses in Johor!
There was a first test game in June with 5 players at Palm Resort as well. This month on Saturday 18 July 2020, 13 players took part in Johor Competition at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club.
There was a short 1-hour thunderstorm that put the game on pause but everyone managed to finish 18 holes by 6:30 pm. Since only 5 players out of 13 had the Deemples handicap, the host decided to only do gross score prizes for this game.
Prizes awarded were TaylorMade TP5X balls, TaylorMade Cap, adidas shoe bag, TaylorMade distant balls, and Golf Ball Collector to the top 5 gross winners.
Next game in August will be on 22 Aug 2020 at Starhill Golf Course (Bukit Course), and prizes will be given out for net score winners, so definitely get your handicaps in!
We want to thank Kapten K'RuL for taking out time from his schedule, and putting so much effort in hosting and sponsoring prizes for these Johor Golf Competitions.
We really hope these efforts will assist the Johor golf courses, the Johor Golf Tourism Association, and most importantly golfers in Johor to be able to play golf whenever and wherever they want to. Kapten K'RuL can only host and sponsor so many events, but everyone else in Johor can also create games for everyone else to join, especially the golf courses themselves!
