EQ Kuala Lumpur recently rebranded (from Equatorial Hotel) and reopened its doors after 7 years of rebuilding in 2019 right before COVID lockdowns. Now that the pandemic is almost behind us, EQ is ramping up efforts to reintroduce the brand to guests, and partnering with Deemples to also target the golfing community.

Deemples currently is the platform of choice when it comes to organising golf competitions and daily golf games. That's the reason why multiple golf event organisers/groups/societies use the platform to automate registration, payments, handicap maintenance, self-scoring, and live results. Golf courses in Malaysia also use the platform to host daily games and accept payments upfront from golfers, removing the need for registration on the game day itself.

For this initial partnership between EQ Kuala Lumpur and Deemples, EQ will be sponsoring a generous amount of room stays, spa sessions, and dining vouchers for winners of golf competitions organisers on the Deemples platform. The value of these benefits comes up to tens of thousands of Ringgit where golfers can benefit from while participating in golf events on the Deemples platform.

In the near future, EQ Kuala Lumpur will be hosting its own golf competitions on Deemples, further deepening its ties with golfers, not only in the Klang Valley area but also in other parts of Malaysia.
