Only Silky Oak is cheap, but this course is good for the price. There are two PAR6s, so I realized later that they were PAR74s. I had a bad experience with Silky Oak's blue, so I went one step lower and asked for a yellow, but there were no yellow tee marks and it felt like I was being told "Here!" to hit the ball. The first hole with many undulations in the fairway is impressive. I thought about visiting this place again in the afternoon, but I had to pay an additional 1750b for the Silky Oak that I had booked, and the usually unfriendly receptionist seemed to hate it even more, so I stayed with Silky Oak, but now I have more places I want to visit next time. And the green putter atea surrounded by sandy bunker outlined by mini lake in circular pattern. 😂😂😂 On June 2024 I played at the side to side golf course, cause this nice GC is still on maintenance schedule. Well hope I can be here at Pattaya again soon, and playing one or two rounds of golf. Recommended. We played as a pair and found there was no traffic or hold ups until we got to hole 11. From that point we spent about 5 min more per hole whilst wait for the group of 4 infront of us to move on. This was a midweek game so not a huge issue. Tee and fairways were better than I expected however we were let down by the greens, which looked like they needed more maintanance and played fast and slow depending whether they were located high or low vs fairway. Overall a great day , super challenge and excellent caddies. The facilities are old and nostalgic, restuarants were not appealing and the showers were clean but felt old.
