Nestled in a valley, the course winds through hills, limestone cliffs, and forested landscapes, providing a diverse and challenging layout. The front nine is undulating and requires precise drives, with highlights like the short par-4s at holes 6 and 7, played from elevated tees. The back nine introduces water hazards, starting with the iconic par-5 10th hole, which curves 180 degrees around a large lake, offering daring golfers a chance at an albatross or hole-in-one. Water hazards continue to challenge players on the par-4 16th and the island green par-3 17th. The course also features straight-faced pot bunkers that guard the greens and open fairway bunkers guiding tee shots. While the clubhouse and facilities could use renovations, the course itself, paired with the warm Thai hospitality of the caddies, makes for a memorable golfing experience in Phuket.
