Originally opened before Thailand's golf boom, the course was redesigned in the mid-1990s by James R. Vaughn, incorporating numerous water hazards and mature trees. This classic course requires precise, straight drives to navigate its tight fairways, where water and out-of-bounds come into play on most holes. The par-3s are particularly challenging, demanding accurate approach shots to avoid water hazards and greenside bunkers. The tricky greens add another layer of difficulty, making this course a true test for golfers of all levels. The Par-4 1st and Par-5 2nd holes are especially demanding, with narrow fairways and water hazards on both sides. The grand clubhouse, also renovated during the redesign, offers excellent Thai cuisine and complete practice facilities, including a public driving range.
