As travellers, this meant a lot. I can easily imagine other places asking us to come back another day, but both Deemples and the club handled it professionally. The course itself is very enjoyable, with some long Par 5s that make the round interesting and challenging. The caddy was professional, gave good lines even though we weren’t familiar with the course, and helped us play comfortably - I was playing around par-bogey largely thanks to the guidance. We were paired with two players from Korea, which was pleasant. Full flight, good pace of play, smooth flow, and very little waiting time throughout the round. Overall, a great golfing experience. Would definitely recommend Thana City, especially if booking via Deemples.” Read more

Flying out to play golf in Cambodia tomorrow. I've eaten at the pool restaurant and the SharkBite restaurant. Both are on point. Unfortunately, I did not eat in the Chinese restaurant. I tried to but they wouldn't allow me to bring my Leo beer into the restaurant. Although I bought the Leo beer at the restaurant next door I wasn't allowed to bring it in. The gym is fantastic and very well equipped. My only complaint is the air conditioning is colder than Antarctica. But I like naturally ventilated gyms. I didn't try the spa but that's a story in itself. Be prepared to pay in advance before your massage. Here is the interesting part. I requested a 1 hour aromatherapy massage. I requested to take a shower first. The therapist and the receptionist led me to the shower. I showered and then put on the robe they provided. The therapist then walks me back to the lobby. The receptionist asked me to pay. I asked her shouldn't I have paid before I took my clothes off and took a shower. My wallet and my dirty golf clothes work on a pile in the floor. So, I put my dirty golf clothes back on and walked out. But, I'm sure the spa is good. I'll try it next time. My room is very nice. The pool is delightful.
