Walking through the 18 holes of Danau Golf Club is breath-taking. Plotting the surroundings are indigenous flora. Palm and rubber trees from the plantations on which the course was created blend in to add to the aestheticism. Located at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi; the club consists of tree-lined rolling fairways and large, multiple-choice tee boxes. You’ll also find huge lakes, plenty of greenside bunkers and generous greens. It would be a mistake not to drop-by if you’re golfing in Malaysia. But there's certainly more to the club than just the 18 holes and its scenic beauty. Danau Golf club also has a driving range, a multipurpose room, tennis courts, a snooker room, a gymnasium, a sauna, and a swimming pool. Those with children don't need to worry either as there's also a children's playground. And for a fun family activity, why not check out the karaoke room?

The Danau Golf Club general manager

Johan Fariz Salleh, Danau Golf Club general manager (GM), has been a fan and supporter of Deemples from the beginning. He’s one of the first Malaysian golf club GMs who heard about Deemples. More importantly, he has connected us to many in the golfing industry so we can further our cause. Johan is one of the youngest golf club GM’s in Malaysia and he’s done a lot for his club. During his time at the club, he’s managed to bring in up to 5,500 rounds per month. Johan and Deemples fit together because like us, he understands the biggest hurdle to getting golfers to golf more: not finding available golfing friends.
