As for downsides? Well... since the mountains are in the background, I experienced an optical illusion(?) where visibility seemed narrow, causing me to put too much force into my arms and resulting in frequent slices. However, the fairways were wider than expected, so I didn't hit many out-of-bounds shots. The driving distance felt longer than I anticipated, but I don't think it significantly affected my score.
