I learnt to play golf at 'The Warren' ( I can only find one 'Warren' golf club in Singapore!) and in 1970, won my first ever golfing competition there. In those days the club, which I believe was British army built and run, had only 9 holes and a clubhouse. Needless to say, I am astonished to see it now, some 55 years later, but what wonderful memories it has conjured up. The clubs development and progress has been unimaginable,... absolutely extraordinary. Unlike occ , par 3 average 2 flights waiting and seletar average 3 flights waiting. Is really very enjoyable to play @ Warren. Putting green is so well kept. Fairway also very nice.
