AIT Golf Club: Historic 9-Hole Course in North Bangkok, Thailand AIT Golf Club, located in the northern region of Bangkok, Thailand, is a historic 9-hole golf course situated on a 20-hectare (125 Rai) area near the eastern side of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) campus in Pathum Thani. Established in 1979, this course was a beloved recreational facility open to the public. While the golf course operations have since been discontinued, the site has taken on new life as the Queen Sirikit Arboretum and Botanical Garden. This transformation, initiated in August 2003, began in the area where the first and second holes of the course once lay, preserving the legacy of AIT Golf Club in a new, environmentally focused form.
